A week of no distraction

Mabuhay Pilipinas!

The title "A week of no distraction" is from my hubby's mouth. HAHA. keep on thinking what should i title this blog entry of mine and suddenly i remembered what he said. NO DISTRACTION. I guess he means, no stressful life just like in SG.

Yap, We went to Philippines for a week (or 6 days) to do our wedding preparations in one shot,Seriously! we didn't have a holiday wherein for 6 weeks we just relaxed and sleep for 6 straight days. we did our pre-cana, interview with the priest, photoshoot (for the 3rd time) and a lot more.

So, we arrived Saturday early morning, 6 am to be exact. we had a very comfortable flight as we both seat in front row (the one with extra leg room and extra charge!) Hahaha. Though, it's a comfortable place i didn't managed to get a sleep nor nap as i keep on reading the Fifty Shades of Grey! (i bought 3 books of it from the airport). So when we arrived, we waited for tatay to fetch us and then we went straight to the church to meet Jason and to attend the Pre-Cana and the interview with the priest.

We are both light headed eventhough Dwi managed to slept. I seriously felt that i am floating in the air and i got easily pissed of, (the inner bitch of me) After we filled up all the forms that we needed Jason left us, we went inside the Pre-Cana which is Dwi and I didn't find it interesting as we already went through the heaven and hell of a married life and in addition in to that, Dwi doesn't understand the whole thing.

The room is full house, probably a 60 pairs. Dwi started to suffocate but still managed to end the 3 hours pre-cana. It's quite funny as most of them are all discussing of their wedding preparation, watching and viewing some past wedding events while me and Dwi, oh we are just playing plants versus zombie. Hahaha. It's not that we are disrespectful it's just our mindset is we are alreay married for almost 2 years.

So, after we finished the pre-cana we went for interview. We keep on talking in English and they keep on staring at us. When we suddenly felt so lost for the next procedure the teacher who did the seminar helped us. when we told her that we came from singapore and we just arrived on that same day she helped us to make the process faster. she brought us to another priest who's named is same with my Father. The Priest interviewing a lot of couple at the same time but we, we had our "private" interview. The Priest itself is an old man but very cool, he is actually in charge for the Father Blanco's Garden, the another reception area that they are already closed due to noise. When they found out that i came from a Catholic Church (Holy Child and Sta.Rosa) and found out that i knew "some" of the important people and i told them that i am an active before i left the Philippines. They said they will find ways that we can use the Father Blanco's Garden. Thank you Lord!

So, Tita Ofel (the teacher) and I exchanged number so she can update me with the Father Blanco's Garden. after that we took a cab home, we are both exhausted and tired that we just wanted to sleep. When we reached home, Aisle is so happy and excited, Dwi who is sleepy went to shower and sleep while me no matter how tired i am  i still find time to play with Aisle even for a short time.

The whole day is tiring but i am looking forward for tomorrow because it's my BIRTHDAY! HAHA! i don't know but i am so excited for it, wondering who are the people who will still remember my birthday! though, compare to the greetings i had last year, this year is quite number of people forgot it. even 2 people from my entourage forgot it i guess so because they never message me nor greeted me or what. anyway, i am that surprise as we starting to lose contacts to each other due to busy scheds i guess?

Anyway, Tintin, Aa and Didi went to our house just before 12 midnight. they bought a big size of Burgers.

They waited until 12 midnight before they go back home. HAHA and they told me that is their surprise for me. to greet me personally. I am seriously touch by their actions! Seriously!

Then the following day, which is my birthday is my most awaited day! because i'm gonna see an old friend of ours that long time been MIA. hehehe. i am quite worried that last minute he's not gonna showed up but he did! He even bought me a doughnuts! I am super happy to see his face. (i think the last time i saw him is during Juday's wedding) hahaha. the Ekk-jac got reunion during my birthday!

Though, callens didn't managed to join us in our exclusive karaoke / birthday concert of mine. he still went to our house just before midnight. anyway i am so glad to see Boking as a fat guy. hahahaha! he is so chubby and looks like a teddy bear.

So, after the Karaoke / Concert Birthday party of mine, we went back home to continue "their" drinking session. (which is Boking didn't manged to join us and callens join us). "they" drunk a left over absolute vodka that i bought last February. Jeff, spent more time with us and i am happy that He and Dwi find a common thing about them, the world of "SCIENCE" Hahaha. wherein most of us started to feel out of place as we can't relate. HAHAHAHA. i even asked Emman how come i don't know what are they talking about but i never skip any "science" class. It's a lousy joke, i know

Anyway, before i end talking about how i celebrated my birthday, here's a picture of Kei, who is the only person who got knocked out. too bad didn't managed to take a photo of him while callens doodling on his face.

So after my "day" we had a meeting with Jason for ocular visit of our hotels. well, originally we supposed to meet up around 9 in the morning but since they had fun last night, Dwi can't managed to woke up 8 am as we all sleep around 4 in the morning. So, we just had a quick look on how is the actual look of the hotels. we had chosen 2 hotels, one is for the Guy's entourage and Friends from Singapore. It's a Fantastic hotel as the ambiance is very SPANISH time, the place is so serene. while the other hotel for my ladies entourage, it's more modern and with class, a definition of a modern Maria Clara. (which Dwi envied).

After this very short errand, We, together our Flower girl, Aisle. went to SM Manila to had our dinner and buy some stuff. we leave aisle to somekind of a playground which she enjoyed a lot. 

We didn't stayed up so late because we have a photoshoot for the following day.

And yaaaap! you heard it right, another photoshoot. FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!!

Our call time is early in the morning, meeting place is San Agustin Church. we supposed to go to 5 places but in the end we settles in one. 

From the original motif, "Mamang Sorbetero" we changed to something more traditional and related to my Race, A filipino Spanish era. Finally, Dwi had a chance to wear a Traditional Filipino Guy's Clothe. BARONG. but due to modern days, now the Barong have a variety of colors. HAHAHA

Of course if Dwi's wearing a BARONG, i am wearing a FILIPINIANA, a Female's Traditional Clothe. which is quite hard to raise both of my hands.

Same Day: 

     So After we had our photoshoot we had BAGNET for lunch. yummmy! I really have this bad habit of eating a LOOOOT after the shoot. HAHA. That night we visited Rox at Bluewave Macapagal for his performance! He is cool and funny, very entertaining. walang halong bola. They drunk and i had a HALO-HALO from different store, as the place where we had our drink is not serving Halo-Halo eventhough it's in their menu. I hate their menu as it made me crave for HALO HALO.

So ayun na nga, i had Halo-Halo and I seriously enjoyed it. I even "simut-sarap" the whole cup.

Next Day:

     Today is the last day of our errands. Today is the most important thing, FOOD TASTING. I am so excited to eat. i want to enjoyed it. Kaya lang, I had a very upset stomach. for some reason my stomach is in severe pain. I want to throw up and I even shit a lot. Jason, thought I am going to faint as i am already pale. I told them we will still continue the food tasting though i didn't enjoyed much as i am feeling so sick. 

I told Dwi to tried the food and i will just wait for them to finish, as i felt i cannot take any food anymore. Good thing the staff of CVJ is very nice, they gave me a medicine. as much as possible i don't want to eat but i can't resist my self specially when Dwi said "MASARAP" Seriously! if Dwi says the food is DELICIOUS it's really DELICIOUS. So i was tempted to tried the food even just a bit, and it's true! The food is so delicious and my "a bit" became all of it. i tried all of it. from soup to dessert. Seriously the food tasting is from SOUP up to DESSERT plus our Pasta Bar, not only one but both of it!

The Following day, my stomach is still in severe pain. i took so much medicine already but still the same. All my plans for that day suddenly cancelled. Instead, we went to Hospital for a check-up. we waited for my doctor who's that time is in the OR. He gave me a medicine that i immediately took, the whole day i just lay down, trapped inside the house. can't go anywhere until i'm starting to have a flu. OH MY GASSSSH! Seriously! I got sick! No Dinner date with Family and other friends before i leave! and it all started with one thing, HALO HALO!

Since i am starting to get lazy and tired and bored with my story, i just want to leave a final wordssssss before i shut down my computer.

1) I don't know who to congratulate but i want to say that our AIRPORT (Terminal 1) is BETTER THAN BEFORE. I don't travel every month but i travel atleast twice a year and i saw "some" of the improvements of our airport. specially the TOILET! now, i can use the toilet HAPPILY. hope you guys continue the good job by improving and letting go the BAD HABITS!

2) TRAFFIC STILL SUCKS! 

3) The Halo-Halo destroyed my vacation. It's either i am not gonna eat Halo-Halo forever or i am not going to eat at the place where i bought it. I think i'll do the second one.

4) Overall, though i didn't managed to see all of my remaining friends. I am happy to see Ekk-jac seriously. 

5) It's still more FUN in the PHILIPPINES and there's no place like HOME. 

Random : Blog After ONE MONTH

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!!

Homaygaad! It's been a month since the last time i posted a blog about my life. Damn! So Busy leh!. 

Honestly, I've tried so many times to share my daily or even weekly activities but i just can't, It's not because  i am super lazy or wanted to stop sharing my story to the public it's just that i am too tired, exhausted and too sleepy after work. I'm a working wife again. Seriously, i thought i can blog every off day but i discovered that i can't because i need energy,a full charge of me. So, i waited for this day to share a summary of what happened to me last month.

So, i told ya that i started my job last October 8 2012 (which is my last blog before this) The job is fine, it's good. I met new people, a new friends and a so called new found bestfriend, and his name is Nixon (soon, i will be posted our photo together). He is a Malaysian Indian-Spanish (?) and also a Bartender like me. anyway, right now i am still doing a Floor Staff job as we are kinda short of floor staffs but Don (my mentor and my manager as well) promised me that he will make a decision after i come back from Philippines. 

I know my post is kinda random as i seriously got a lot of stories to share and don't know how to start so i will just type all of these in a way how i talk to a friend that i never met for some time now. Okay, so let's go back to my story about my work. So, aside from Nixon, I also made friends with my co-floor staff namely, Abby, Maria, Clowence and Melina; All of us are Filipina, well Clowence and Melina will be finishing their contract next month and it's kinda sad because most of the time if we have all the same schedules, we all go to work together.  While Abby and Maria's contract will be ending next year. Our supervisor is Dorothy, which is my Senior before (way back 2009, when i'm just started and got kicked out from Orchard) I also met another Manager, his name is Saurabh (not so sure with spelling, though) Another Bartender, Billy and the rest are old face like Lawrence. 

Working as a Floor staff is good as I am able to get a lot of tips, well it still depends on the day. let's say my tips alone made me able to bought an Iphone 5 (yessss! after so many years i finally got an Iphone 5), pay the PUB and Cable and Internet and lastly, bought some foods that i wanted. Then u guess how much is it. :)

well, its tips so it means its not fix it will really depends on how lucky and hard working you are. :) Anyway, lets see how much will have this November.

Another things to share, I finally got an Iphone, i really thought that i will passed this moment again. i've been dreaming of Iphone since from the start but i just keep on thinking that there's more important things, but this time i know that i have "extra" money thanks to my tip and also, i got no time to use my lappy or computer i need to buy a smart phone with line to be able to connect with all the people i needed to talked to. (specially, our coordinator). with the advice of my dear buddy, Toby who is working at M1, I used my Husband account to register my line BUT HEY! It doesn't mean he will pay my BILL, I CAN PAY MY OWN BILL. (just to make my statement clear here!)  well, when i got my Iphone, i really felt so stupid for a moment but i got easily picked up my self, now me and my husband enjoying the phone, he downloaded a Plant Versus Zombie because of the Zen Garden that i guess only Apple products have. (He is using a S2). Battery wise, i am happy with my battery, as long as i charged it fully before i leave the house if not i can always charge in my working place or used our good friend birthday gift to me a battery pack. (I don't know the exact word for it).

Anyway, let's change the topic. yesterday, we finally did our wedding shoot with Singapore team. It's fun but so tiring. I enjoyed it at first (the indoor studio) but when we went outside for the outdoor shoot and wearing a big fluffy wedding gown that seriously caught everybody's attention i was really felt so awkward and embarrassed.  i keep on hearing and seeing people saying "look (the they will point at me)" it is so hard wearing a gown specially when i was to use the ladies, it is so difficult, seriously difficult. anyway at least it's all done, and i will surely post the pictures here once it's already available. 

So, this week i will be only working until Friday and next week will be an UNPAID LEAVE FOR ME, it's kinda bad but i got no choice. we need to go back to Philippines to settle our Philippine Wedding Preparation. It's kinda stressful but i am also happy as i will see Aisle again. Relaxing time after all the stressful events happened to me, anyway MOVING ON. I am so excited to go to Philippines this BER months. and i will try my best to update you about our Philippines Vacay as soon as possible. 

Anyway, I did my Brazilian this month after 3 months. It's more painful than before maybe because i am in the week of having my period anytime soon (i am actually having it now---i know i'm quite disgusting) i also did my nails because of my photoshoot and lastly went for a facial with free massage cost me a few hundred bucks! I am really thankful with my tips!!!!!!. Good thing i did my hairless kitty few days before my period so it will be easier for me now to-----------shit stop this disgusting thing.

Today, the last day of my leave. YESSSS! I am on leave-----------Yes i know i am still on probation, i just joined the company and they know everything about my leaveeeees! HAHAHA. We went to Toys r Us to buy a christmas presence for my nephew and nieces in Philippines. I am only close to my father side kids, so i just managed to bought them. At first my plan is to buy 10 toys but i gave up what to give to the two 12 years old boy within my budget, so we decided to give a monetary gift instead. :)

Oh damn! My eyes are starting to close and seriously i wanted to sleep..Anyway before i shut down my computer, i want you to know that me and two of my new friends will do a Video Blog, i'll let you know the rest of the details because right now all our schedules are so tight so everything is still in the first stage of planning.
